I'm glueing up an anniversary gift for my wife...
Sometimes you just get lucky with the knot.
This is scrap walnut that I found at Bohnhoff lumber in Downtown L.A.
It's 3 pieces of 6x4x38" I milled down to 4x.5" strips and glued it up.
I'll put this through the drum sander and get a final thickness of just over .25".
Can't tell you what the final piece is because my wife might be looking at the blog and I want the final piece to be a surprise.
I'll post the progress as it goes, and you guys can guess.
