I've begun a new project to keep my lunches at the House of Mouse a bit more Zen. I started with a nice big piece of Bass wood, thickness sanded it down to 1.75" using my new favorite tool (see last post). Then using a standard Strat as a template I cut and routed the body. I took my sketch and transposed it onto the guitar body. Now I've begun depth carving to find the correct feeling I'm looking for. About an hour a day for about a month or so and it should be ready for finish... we'll see!
