1st 12 coats of clear are on, and I've started prepping for the color coats. In this next stage I'll wet sand to get rid of any bumps and high spots. I'll use papers from 800 to 1500 grit. When I'm satisfied that were smooth as glass, I'll begin to apply the tinted color base. Five or six coats should give us the dimensional look I'm going for.

68' Vette Wet Sanding
